Everything at half speed today. And I want to tell you what you're actually building.
Three seconds out, three seconds back. On everything. Reps drop to 10 because slow is genuinely harder. Start on your weaker side.

🌿 WHAT "FIRMER" ACTUALLY MEANS
Mamas, most of you measure your gap by width. How many fingers across. But there's a second thing, and honestly it matters more: the tension of the tissue between the two muscles. That connective tissue — the linea alba — can be slack and squishy, where your fingers sink straight in. Or it can be firm and springy, where there's resistance under your hand even if the width hasn't changed. Firm is the goal. A 2-finger gap with firm tissue functions far better than a 2-finger gap you can sink into. It holds pressure. It supports your spine. It stops the bulging. And here's the part nobody tells you: tension improves before width does. Almost always. So a mama who measures only width thinks nothing's happening, while the thing that actually matters is already changing.
⏸️ WHY SLOW BUILDS FIRMNESS
Fast reps use momentum. The tissue gets loaded and unloaded in a flash, and it doesn't have time to respond. Slow reps keep tension on that tissue for longer. Longer tension means a stronger signal to adapt — to lay down fibres, to tighten, to firm up. Three seconds out, three seconds back. Ten reps. That's double the time under tension of twenty fast ones, mamas. 💛 💪 GRADUATES: half speed, all bridges single-leg, 7-second holds. 🌱 NEW TO THE 21: 8 reps, half speed, two-foot bridges, 3-second holds. 💛
Same as yesterday, mamas. Before every meal — open the app, do a breath session. Three 360 breaths, thirty seconds. Before breakfast, before lunch, before dinner. Not after — deep breathing on a full stomach is uncomfortable. Yesterday was day one of this habit. Today is day two. That's how habits are actually made. Reply with how many you managed — 1, 2 or 3.
📌 TODAY'S FOCUS
Thirty-three days, mamas. Next time you check your gap, don't just count fingers. Press gently and notice what's underneath. Does your hand sink straight in, or is there something pushing back? Is it springy, or soft? That resistance under your fingers is the thing we're building — and it's why a mama whose width hasn't moved can still be healing properly. Width is what you can measure. Firmness is what actually holds you. Most of us chase the number and miss the thing that matters. Slow today. Ten reps. Seven-second holds. Every one of them laying down tension in tissue that's been slack since your baby. 💪💛
